DIRECT SON OF IRON CLAD Our apologies to those who have tried to contact us over the last few weeks. Some, we've gotten in touch with; some have, no doubt, fallen through the cracks. I [Rick] have traveled more in the last ten weeks than I otherwise did for the previous 10 years combined.
My father was diagnosed with Glioblastoma brain cancer several months ago. Living 1,000-4,000 miles away from him for the past 35 years prompted us to make concerted efforts to help each of our family members to visit him during this trying time.
With multiple trips to Texas over the past 10 weeks, combined with Snowfest, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year's, my schedule has been riddled to say the least. All this came at the heart of sales season. Again, my apologies for struggling to return the 100's of calls e-mails and texts we've received concerning interest in our birds. Just not able to wrap our arms and heads around all of it during this trying and busy time.
I shared the eulogy last week at my dad's funeral. I miss him. He was a great man!
